Ridgmar Mall is proud to be a community partner. We strive to meet community challenges through a combination of employee volunteerism, financial support, in-kind donations and partnerships with non-profit organizations which have missions consistent with our vision and values.
Community Partnerships Fountain Foundation- Susan G. Komen for the Cure: Each time you toss a few coins into one of our dazzling new fountains, you're also helping those in need. All of the proceeds collected from the fountains are donated to local charities and other worthwhile organizations. So, go ahead toss a coin and make a wish. Together we're helping to make a positive change right here in our own community. The 2011 Fountain Foundation recipient is Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Fort Worth. Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure®, Komen has invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill their promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
