SMOOTHIE KING NOW OPEN AT RIDGMAR
Fort Worth, TX. . . . Smoothie King is now open in the food court, located on the upper level near the Kids district.
Smoothie King is a privately held New Orleans, Louisana-area based franchise company and is the premier Smoothie Bar and Nutritional Lifestyle Center in the industry. Smoothie King centers offer their guests the industry’s first and original nutritional fruit and function-based, fresh blended smoothies. Each “Lifestyle Center” also offers healthy retail product solutions in sport beverages, energy bars, healthy snacks, vitamin supplements, herbs, minerals, and sports nutrition products.
The Company opened its first store in 1973 and started as the first franchised smoothie bar/health food store business in the United States in 1989. Since 1989, Smoothie King has been named #1 franchise in their category 15 times. At the end of 2004, Smoothie King posted over 360 locations operating in 34 states. Smoothie King currently has over 50 units under development and is expected to be over 400 by the end of 2005. This is another key milestone met by the new Smoothie King management team.
Ridgmar is located on the northeast corner of I-30 and Green Oaks Road in Fort Worth, featuring more than 125 specialty stores and restaurants, plus Dillard’s, Foley’s, JCPenney, Sears, Neiman Marcus and Rave Motion Pictures Ridgmar 13
